On the Banks of Plum Creek

We got to go down to Plum Creek in a few places and put our feet in Plum Creek. We walked around the prairie near Plum Creek.

We got to play on a playground after and there was a spinny thing like what is at the New Market park. And then we got to put our faces in cut outs of Ma, Pa, Laura and Mary and sit in a prairie wagon. 

On the big rock, though probably not the same big rock from the book.

 

Playing house close to the creek. I love thinking about how Laura might have played here, too.

 

Outside the museum in town. We enjoyed the unstructured time out at the creek instead of going in here as it seemed to do more with the tv show.
